The author strongly opposes its legalization and addresses the slippery slope America would travel down if we allowed PAS. The author urges readers to look at the moral aspect regarding the topic, emphasizing the idea that the doctor-patient relationship would deteriorate. It differentiates physician-assisted suicide from homicidal activity but enacts that there is a fine line between the two. A general conclusion is that the legalization of physician-assisted suicide will worsen our country and our social relationships. The author urges you to consider PAS a crime and deny its legalization nationwide.
